Faithfull Mortice Gauge is made from premium quality hardwood with attractive brass faced plates and fittings. The gauge features a nylon friction pad under the knurled brass thumbscrew which functions to effectively reduce wear to the stem and enable the setting of the gauge to be accurate, smooth and secure. Faithfull Mortice Gauge is dual purpose, and features a second pin for mortice work that is accurately set using the pull slide. The gauge can be used for both laying out mortices and marking out with the grain.
